Ghana Premier League: “Aduana players adhered to tactics” – Aristica

Head coach of Aduana FC Cioaba Aristica has reacted positively to their 1-1 draw in a week 10 Ghana Premier League fixture against Asante Kotoko at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday.

The two time Ghana champions shot themselves ahead through Emmanuel Marfo’s close range effort after Kotoko keeper, Aziz Dari spilled Seidu Saana’s thundering strike from about 35 yards.

Kotoko however fought back to draw level when right-back, Lord Amoah smashed in a poorly cleared ball by Aduana defence.

Aristica, who has shaped the “Fire Boys” into a threatening side, says his charges deserve rave reviews about their resilience against Kotoko.

Aristica praises players for adhering to tactics

“For me I congratulate the players, they respected our tactics from the first minute to ninety minutes,” Cioaba Aristica said.

“I said before the game that Kotoko have individual players better than us but I have a team who are disciplined and working together.

“We had three or four chances and if he had scored we would win the game and Kotoko also had three or four chances in the game.

“I congratulate both teams because they played very good football and if it continues like this, it is good for Ghana football.”

Aduana have collected an impressive six wins, two draws and two losses as they sit in third on the league table with 20 points from 10 matches.
