Head coach of Swedru All Blacks Ahmed Ibrahim Fathy has shared thoughts on their emphatic victory against former champions, Berekum Chelsea.
The Egyptian manager took charge of the club after their qualification from Zone II of Ghana’s Division One League last season.
The Premier League returnees gave away a goal’s lead to lose 2-1 in the opening day of the 2025/26 season against Nations FC but they recovered to secure an emphatic 3-0 victory against Berekum Chelsea in the Match day 2 on Sunday.
Speaking after the game, the Egyptian trainer stressed the need to work hard in order to keep their status in the top flight at the end of the campaign.
“How do we stay in the league? By working hard. There’s no such thing as luck on its own. Luck comes when you put in the work,” Fathy said.
“Every day on the pitch, we try to improve our game. After one match, we move on to the next without dwelling on a win or loss,” he added.
All Blacks, who made a return to the Ghana Premier League for the first time in 18 years, will now prepare to face Aduana FC in the Matchday 3 games at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park this weekend.
