Hearts of Oak head coach Mas Ud Didi Dramani has stressed the need to beef up his squad for the second half of the Ghana Premier League.
Hearts of Oak have struggled to score goals this campaign despite managing to collect 25 points after 15 league matches.
The record Ghana FA Cup holders have scored 10 goals and conceded six times with forwards, Hamza Issah and Mawuli Wayo tied on three goals from 14 and 12 appearances respectively.
Didi Dramani, who replaced Ivorian coach Aboubakar Ouattara, says the club will need to augment the squad moving forward.
“It’s very important that once it’s a work in transition, we need to have the opportunity to beef up [and] beefing up is also part of the transition of a team, it’s part of the team organization and structure,”
“You cannot have a very complete house, you need to have a house where you need to know that there are areas that you need to function.
“But I think that every player that we have in our 36-man squad including the few younger ones that we are using.
Hearts of Oak sit in 4th on the Ghana Premier League table on 25 points from 15 matches, one above Asante Kotoko who will clear week 15 on Wednesday against Eleven Wonders at the Legon Sports Stadium.
