Ghana Premier giants, Hearts of Oak will look to keep the top four chase intact when they host Nations FC on Thursday.
The week 21 outstanding fixture comes up at the Phobians’ newly adopted home, the Tuba astroturf after the National Sports Authority rejected their request to use the Accra Sports Stadium.
The record FA Cup holders would not be able to use the Legon Stadium due to preparations at the venue for the CAF U-15 Schools Football Championship later this month.
Hearts of Oak have gone three games without a win, with just a point out of a possible nine but head coach, Aboubakar Ouattara wants to change the narrative this time.
“We are preparing very well like we do it every time and this one we are preparing the psychology side because we have already played three matches, we have just one point and we are very disappointed. So we talked to the boys to focus on the matches. When you play three matches, out of nine points you get one, it’s not easy. We are trying to bring the boys back on track,” Aboubakar Ouattara told Hearts TV.
Hearts of Oak sit 5th on the league table with 37 points, nine behind leaders and sworn rivals Asante Kotoko from 24 Ghana Premier League matches.
