Hearts of Oak goalkeeper Benjamin Asare has voiced concern over the team’s struggles in front of goal this season.
The Phobians are bracing themselves for their week 31 clash at Berekum Chelsea on Sunday May 18, a game that looks more of a formality, with both clubs unlikely to win the league.
Before Asare touched on the goal drought among the strikers, he admits that Berekum Chelsea will give them a good run for their money at the Golden City Park.
“We are not expecting an easy game, but we are working hard to ensure we can secure victory,” Asare told Hearts TV. The Black Stars goalkeeper has ruled out any form of pressure ahead of the game, but is concerned by their lack of goals.
“We are not under any pressure, but our major worry is that we are not able to score goals. But in training, everybody is very fit for the game,” he added.
The record Ghana FA Cup holders are sixth in the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League on 46 points after 30 games.
Kick-off for the highly anticipated match is set for 15:00 GMT on Sunday.
