Hearts of Oak got back to winning ways in week two of the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League with a slim yet important 1-0 win over Dreams fc on Monday, September 22 at the Nii Adjei Kraku II Complex.
The Phobians had been pegged back by top flight debutants, Hohoe United to a goalless draw at the Accra Sports Stadium in week one but their quick recovery in week two has shored up the fans interest ahead of the remaining fixtures.
Head coach of the 2000 CAF Champions League winners, Mas Ud Didi Dramani reflected on the next game against Eleven Wonders at the Accra Sports Stadium on Friday, September 26.
“I think they are a very strong side, they are a very disciplined side, a very organised side and so we respect what they bring but we will try to impose our authority in terms of our style of play, in terms of our game model,” Didi Dramani told Hearts TV.
“And so we are very positive in terms of how we have to approach the game and we just have to be able to take the necessary spaces that are needed and try as much as possible to control the game when we don’t have the ball.”
Eleven Wonders come into the game from an opening day goalless draw at Basake Holy Stars before falling by 4-1 at home to Heart of Lions.
Hearts of Oak are the most successful club in Ghana having won the CAF Champions League, the Super Cup and the Confederation Cup, a feat yet to be achieved by any Ghanaian side.
They hold a record 12 FA Cups with 21 Premier League titles in their cabinet. Coach Didi Dramani has the task of pushing the club back to its glorious days.
