Hearts of Oak will usher in the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League at home against newly promoted club, Hohoe United under new coach Mas-Ud Didid Dramani.
The Phobians had a good pre-season, winning two trophies – the Homowo Charity Cup and the Democracy Cup and will hope to replicate that feat in the Ghana Premier League this campaign.
Head coach of Hearts of Oak, Mas Ud Didi Dramani has admitted that, the challenge against Hohoe United will not come easy.
“They [Hohoe United] have always been, a very organized side. It’s a side that has really put in a lot in the Division One, they come in with a lot of formidability, they come with some fairness in terms of new recruits.” Didi Dramani told Hearts media.
Didi Dramani has indicated that, the 2001 CAF Super Cup winners will compete for every title this season: “I think that our goal is to try to compete strongly in all the competitions across the structure of our football in Ghana.
“And so going in in the early season against Hohoe United, we need to package ourselves strongly, stay very consistent and very sustainable in terms of all the competitions of the year.” He added.
Hearts of Oak showed class in the 2025 GHALCA Top Four where they finished tops alongside league champions, Gold Stars at the Legon Sports Stadium in August.
