Karela United have one of the most difficult tasks to deal with when they host Medeama SC in week three of the Ghana Premier League.
Karela, who escaped relegation by a whisker last season have collected four points from two opening matches this campaign, beating Aduana Stars 1-0 at home before drawing 1-1 at Samartex in week two.
Medeama have recorded two straight wins and Karela United need to above themselves to go past the two FA Cup winners at the Tamale Sports Stadium on Sunday, September 28.
Karela United head coach, Nurudeen Amadu has acknowledged the difficulty of facing experienced sides.
“Clubs like Medeama SC, Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko will surely present us with a lot of problems because of their experience and quality,” he told the club’s media.
“But we are not going to underestimate or over-respect anyone. We will prepare to play every team with the same seriousness,” he stressed.
Karela United have four points from two matches with Medeama on six points heading into the next fixtures.
