Asante Kotoko and Gold Stars will square off in a battle fit for the gods with both clubs setting their sights on the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League title.

Gold Stars sit second on the ladder with 56 points, one behind leaders Nations FC and Kotoko are in third on 54 points with Heart of Lions. Kotoko head coach Abdul Karim Zito has acknowledged that traveling to play Gold Stars in the Week 32 fixture at the Duns Park on Sunday will be a tough test.

“The approach will be very serious, but we should admit it; we are going to meet one of the best teams in the league on Sunday," Zito said.

“They are very good and they have more advantage by playing at home, so it doubles our task in meeting them, so we are preparing towards that," he added.

The crunchy encounter will kick off at 15:00 GMT alongside other fixtures set to go on simultaneously on Sunday. One of the fixtures to look out for is the game between Vision FC and Karela United at the Nii Adjei Okraku II Park with both clubs battling for survival.
