Asante Kotoko head coach Karim Zito has shared his thoughts following a goalless draw with rivals Hearts of Oak.
The derby clash in the Ghana Premier League failed to sparkle, producing no goals at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday May 4. Zito expressed his disappointment in his team's wastefulness in front of goal, but remained confident of chasing the league title.
“In terms of creativity, we were better than Hearts of Oak. We squandered too many chances. We should have won, but we weren’t clinical enough. I still stand by my target of winning the league, even if our chances look slim. Until it’s over, we’ll keep fighting."
Kotoko stretched their unbeaten run to eight games, with two wins and six draws, as they remain in fourth place in the league.
