Head coach of Asante Kotoko Abdul Karim Zito has expressed calm following their goalless draw at home to Heart of Lions in Week Four of the Ghana Premier League.
The Porcupine Warriors walked into the game with a positive energy from their CAF Confederation Cup feat where they eliminated Nigeria’s side, Kwara United in the preliminary round.
Heart of Lions, who have a one hundred percent record from their last three games, gave the two time African champions a good run for their money at the Baba Yara Stadium.
Notwithstanding the nerve wracking encounter, Karim Zito remains satisfied with the score line with two outstanding games to clear.
“I’m okay with a point, it’s better than losing, but there is an improvement,” he said.
“We are not yet there, but there is an improvement, so it wasn’t bad, the team will work to score more goals in subsequent games.”
Asante Kotoko will now prepare to face their outstanding league game against Bibianu GoldStars on Wednesday, October 8 at 19:00 GMT at the DUN’s Park.
