The Mauve and Yellow had lost the top spot to holders GoldStars after losing 2-1 at Dreams FC last weekend.
However, Kelvin Obeng and Salim Adams’ scored a goal each to compound the woes of Eleven Wonders at the Tarkwa TnA Park.
After incessant pressure, Obeng leapt above Eleven Wonders defenders to head in the opener in the 21st minute mark. Seven minutes after the opener, midfielder Adams struck in the second with a thunderbolt from outside the box.
The match lost its firepower from then on with little to no clear cut chances created in the remaining minutes of the first half.
The second department of the game equally failed to produce any glitter with Medeama running away with all three points.
The former champions moved back into top spot with 49 points, one above defending champions GoldStars, who will clear their week 27 fixture on Sunday against Karela United at the Aliu Mahama Stadium in Tamale.
