Medeama, who earned a 2-0 win in their first game against Young Apostles, controlled the entire game from the blast of the whistle.
Their total control saw right back Kamaradini Mamudu open the scoring for the Mauve and Yellow with just fourteen minutes played. Medeama enjoyed a lion share of the ball possession then on with Vision FC sitting back deeper into their area in a bid to curtail the incessant attack.
Medeama’s marauding attack yielded the needed result when Abdul Salam raced into Vision FC penalty area with his kick deflecting off the feet of Vision FC right-back, Emanuel Sanja to make the score 2-0 in the 31st minute.
The two time FA Cup winners matched into the break with a comfortable 2-0 lead much to the excitement of the sparsely populated stands. Medeama continued the second half in a fine light with flashes of what they exhibited in the first half.
Fuzy Taylor laid a pass in the way of Emmanuel Owusu who dribbled his way past Vision FC defenders to slot home the third goal behind Vision fc keeper, Kwame Aziz in the 82nd minute.
Medeama left no stone unturned in a bid to finish off the game and within minutes of scoring the third goal, Nurudeen Abdulai increased the tally with a solo effort in the 83rd minutes. Referee Daniel Laryea ended the proceedings with Medeama claiming a second win of the campaign under the guidance of former Ghana international Ibrahim Tanko.
