Ghana Premier League: “Medeama will claim all three points against Young Apostles” – Ibrahim Tanko

Head coach of Medeama Sporting Club, Ibrahim Tanko, has targeted all three points in their opening fixture of the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League against Young Apostles on Sunday.

Speaking in a pre-match interview, the former Accra Lions tactician assured fans that his team has prepared well to begin the new campaign on a positive note.

“It’s a very good feeling that the league is coming back after a long break. I’m sure that all the teams have prepared very well, and I hope for a better season,” Ibrahim Tanko told Medi TV.

“We are going there to win, definitely. But I don’t think I can give you any results. Any team wants to win their first game of the league, and I think we are going there to win. We have had a good pre-season, so we are definitely going there to win. I hope my team will give their best. He added.

The encounter between Young Apostles and Medeama Sporting Club is scheduled to be played on Sunday, September 14, and will kick off at 3 pm at Nana Agyeman Badu Park.
