Manso was hired to replace the departed Kassim Mingle Ocansey and succeeded in leading Nations to claim a point in a week eight fixture at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park.
The experienced coach, who guided GoldStars to last season’s Premier League title, gave rave reviews about his players’ performance and the one point earned.
“I think it’s a very good game, it’s a game we fought for because Bechem [United] needed to win at all costs [and] you could see they were putting a lot of pressure so we will have to make sure we close them down, close down the spaces and for me I think it’s a very important point for us,” Frimpong Manso said after the game.
“I think it’s our first away point and I think Nations have been a good side all this while except that sometimes you will do all you have to do but the result will not come but I think the boys have done so well.”

Bechem United head coach, Stephen Botchway shared some words after managing to keep a point at home against Nations.
“I think they [Nations FC] were so defensive that we were making a lot of mistakes in the final third. Our decision making has not been effective at all today [and] what I was expecting from the boys was not there [and] honestly I am a little bit disappointed.”
