Nations FC rallied from a goal down to beat Heart of Lions 2-1 at the Dr. Kyei Complex in a week 13 Ghana Premier League fixture on Saturday.

Lions needed a point or three to stay in the top spot alongside Aduana and Medeama while Nations wanted to climb into mid-table.
Heart of Lions, however, powered ahead when Chauncy Freeman pounced on Razak Simpson’s poor clearance to blast home the opener in the 16th minute. The goal was the Liberian forward’s third of the season.
The game switched into several incursions from both sides but Nations FC’s performance was a notch higher.
Nations FC had the equalizer moments later through an own goal when Rubin Hennessy headed an in swinging cross into his own net with 35 minute played with the score line staying 1-1 into the half time break.
Prince Badu stunned the visitors with a long ranger in the 85th minute to win the day for Nations FC at 2-1.
The win pushed Nations FC into 9th with 16 points on the league table while Heart of Lions remain on 23 points from 13 games.
