Nations FC will have one of their toughest tests in the Ghana Premier League when they host Asante Kotoko in week five of the Ghana Premier League.
The local derby is expected to provide fans at the Dr. Kyei Complex with entertaining football on Saturday, October 11.
Kotoko go into the game with chests high having defeated Gold Stars by 2-0 in an outstanding fixture to go on seven points.
Nations FC on the other hand have managed to collect four points in four games, making the week five fixture a tough one. Head coach of Nations FC, Kassim Mingle has shared words on the mountainous task ahead of his team.
“We are doing our normal preparations that we do for all matches, every match is three points but we will intensify training a little bit because it is Kotoko,” Kassim Mingle told the club’s media.
“You can’t dispute their [Kotoko’s] might so we are on it.
“We’ve prepared well for the Kotoko match [and] normally [in] every match, we prepare well for it. We went to Tarkwa against Medeama, we played very well but unfortunately we lost but that’s football so we’ve prepared well for them [Kotoko].
“We’ve psyched them up and you could see from the training that they are well motivated for the match.”
