Ghana Premier League champions Bibiani GoldStars have shipped out eleven players in a massive squad overhaul.

The club announced the massive clear out in a bid to make way for fresh legs to augment their squad for next season’s domestic and continental campaign.

Some of the key players released by the club include Eric Bosomtwi, Sadat Mohammed, Alex Aso, Godfred Kyei, Frank Amankwah, Michael Osei, Charles Kamara and former Hearts of Oak defender William Dankyi.

The remaining players who have been shown the exit are Osei Yaw, Andrews Cobinnah and Owusu Banahene. In a statement, the club thanked the group for contributions to last season’s historic title run where they brushed aside Hearts of Oak and Kotoko.

They technical staff led by experienced coach, Frimpong Manso believe the reshuffle is essential if GoldStars are to compete and make an impact in next season’s CAF Champions League and the domestic competitions.
