Ghana’s football has been boosted following the selection of hardworking referee, Selorm Yao Bless as a FIFA officiating official. Yao Bless has earned his FIFA badge for the year 2025, marking a major milestone in his young refereeing career.
The 35-year-old has been consistent with his performance in big Ghana Premier League matches and other regional competitions. His promotion to the FIFA list now opens the door to international opportunities and he joins the table of big officials from Ghana Daniel Laryea.
FIFA’s rigorous selection process requires nominees to meet strict fitness and medical standards of which the young Ghanaian surmounted to claim the enviable badge.
Yaw Bless will now represent Ghana in major African continental competitions with opportunities for FIFA tournament as well.
