The group stage of the top two club competitions in Asia, the AFC Champions League Elite and the second most prestigious AFC Champions League 2, are coming closer to their conclusions with the Champions League 2 group stage now complete. African players produced some moments of magic with Algerian striker Oussama Bellatreche the star of the week. The former USM Alger and JS Saoura marksman tallied a hat-trick for Bahraini club Al-Khaldiya in a dominant 4-0 home victory over Turkmenistan’s Altyn Asyr.
