Ghana Premier League champions, Gold Stars FC, have bolstered their attacking line with new striker, Razack Sanou.

The tall and lanky Burkina Faso attacker joins the Bibiani-based club on a two-year deal from Salitas FC ahead of the 2025/26 domestic and continental campaign.

Razack is an addition that is expected to add a lot of bite for the Miners’ front line as they prepare to partake in the 2025/26 CAF Champions League.

GoldStars, who defied all odds to win last season’s Ghana Premier League, announced the capture of the striker on social media.

“We are excited to announce that Bibiani GoldStars have signed Burkina Faso forward, Sanou Razack, on a two-year deal from Burkinabe Premier League side Salitas FC. Welcome to the Miners’ family, Razack! Great things ahead together.”

Razack has previously played for Onze d’Afrique and KOZAF in his native country. Gold Stars will begin the defence of their Ghana Premier League title with a game against Bechem United on September 12, 2025.

The 2025 GHALCA Top 4 champions will then prepare for a two-legged encounter against Algerian giants JS Kabylie in the preliminary round of the CAF Champions League.
