Guinea FA confirms unavailability of Ilaix Moriba, Fadiga

The Guinean Football Federation (FGF) has confirmed the unavailability of players Moriba Kourouma [Ilaix Moriba] and Lamine Diaby Fadiga.

Both players will not be available for the Syli National team’s training camp in Morocco due to some degrees of injury.

Ilaix Moriba was returning for first time in 18-months

Moriba Kourouma [Ilaix Moriba] , who is suffering from patellar tendinopathy in his right knee, will be replaced by midfielder Lancinet Kourouma of FC Girona, who will join the national team’s training camp in Rabat in the coming days.

Lamine Diaby Fadiga, who plays for Polish club, Raków Częstochowa has also picked up an injury and will have to wait a little longer before making his international debut.

The name of his replacement will be announced later by the coaching staff.

“The FGF, the coaching staff, and the fans wish Moriba Kourouma and Lamine Diaby Fadiga a speedy recovery and hope to see them back soon,” part of the statement read.

Guinea will play its two friendly matches against Benin and Togo in Morocco due to the lack of stadiums that meet the standards of CAF and FIFA.
