Guirassy finishes from the spot as Dortmund seal top four finish

The final fixtures of the 2024/25 German Bundesliga season were played today with Borussia Dortmund confirming qualification for next season's UEFA Champions League. Serhou Guirassy scored in BVB's final home match as he helped his side reach the top four.
Guirassy was on target as Dortmund overcame Holstein Kiel 3-0. The Guinean international opened the scoring from the spot three minutes after kickoff. Marcel Sabitzer and Felix Nmecha scored the other goals in the second half as Dortmund finished the season fourth with 57 points.
Guirassy ended the season with 21 league goals.
Eintracht Frankfurt came from behind to defeat Freiburg 3-1. Tunisian international Ellyes Skhiri scored the third goal of the match as Frankfurt finished the season third with 60 points. Algerian midfielder Fares Chaibi assisted the first goal when Ansgar Knauff opened the scoring in the dying minutes of the first half.
Elsewhere, Algerian attacker Mohamed Amoura assisted Lukas Nmecha as Wolfsburg edged Borussia Mönchengladbach. The 25-year-old forward finished his Bundesliga debut season with 20 goal contributions, having scored 10 league goals.
