Hadj Moussa stars as Feyenoord thrash Heracles

Algeria international Anis Hadj-Moussa struck twice as Feyenoord whitewashed Heracles 4-1 in Almelo on Saturday in the Dutch Eredivisie.

The 23-year-old meandered his way into an array of Heracles defenders before notching the opener with just nine minutes of action played.

Moussa was determined to wreak more havoc. And he succeeded. His perfect strike just around the penalty area increased their advantage to two goals and put the visitors in control.

As the first-half clock ran down, Korean midfielder Hwang In-beom made it 3-0 for Feyenoord on the stroke of half time.

Dutch midfielder Givairo Read 79th-minute fourth was the icing on the cake for Feyenoord. They remain third in the league with 65 points,15 points behind second-placed PSV Eindhoven after 31 matches.

Moussa has now scored eight goals in 27 matches this season. He was replaced in the 46th minute by Ghana youngster Ibrahim Osman. Moussa represented Algeria at U-20 and U-23 level, before making his senior debut in 2024.
