French Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain will face Nantes in Brittany without influential right back Achraf Hakimi. Hakimi trained with his teammates but was dropped from the traveling squad.
No specific reason was given as to why the Morocco international couldn’t take part in Tuesday evening's Ligue 1 match. Head coach Luis Enrique wants to focus more on the UEFA Champions League semifinal against Arsenal and the Coupe de France final against Stade Reims following their Ligue 1 triumph earlier in April.
Hakimi is the second most-used player in the PSG squad after center-back Willian Pacho, and his exclusion could be related to rest and recovery.
Nantes are fighting to stay up in Ligue 1 while PSG hopes to maintain their unbeaten league run.
