Hamari Traoré attracts multiple suitors ahead of final contract year

Real Sociedad and Mali right-back Hamari Traoré is the subject of transfer speculation. The 33-year-old former Stade Rennes defender has suitors in French Ligue 1, La Liga, and Russia.

The experienced right-back has drawn interest from LOSC Lille, OGC Nice, and an unnamed Spanish club, according to Foot Mercato.

Nice are seeking a new right-back as Jonathan Clauss is expected to leave the club and join Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen. Coach Franck Haise sees Traoré as a direct replacement for Clauss, with both players known for their attacking ability.

Russian side Zenit Saint Petersburg are also keen on signing the former Mali national team captain. He has one year left on his contract with Sociedad. Traoré was on the bench for the Spanish side in their opening-day 1–1 draw against Valencia in La Liga.

Earlier this summer, Traoré was on the verge of moving to newly promoted French side Paris FC, but the deal collapsed after the capital club withdrew from negotiations.
