Video: Hamza AbdelKarim scores first Barcelona youth goal on debut against Huesca

Egyptian rising striker Hamza AbdelKarim scored his first goal for FC Barcelona Juvenil A during his debut appearance against SD Huesca in the Spanish youth league.

Abdel Karim was included in the starting lineup for Barcelona’s youth side after receiving his work permit, marking the beginning of his journey with the Juvenil A team.

The young Egyptian found the net in the 69th minute when a cross from the left side reached him inside the box. AbdelKarim met the ball with a header that beat the Huesca goalkeeper, who had come off his line unsuccessfully.

Also in the match, the striker won a penalty after being fouled inside the area, however, his teammate Adrian Guerrero stepped up to take the spot kick, which was saved by the Huesca goalkeeper.

Juvenil A took the lead and became 2–1 ahead against Huesca by AbdelKarim’s goal before he was substituted in the 72nd minute. The game ended draw 2-2.

Barcelona had signed the promising Egyptian forward on loan from Al Ahly Egypt during the January transfer window until the end of the season.
