Ghana Premier League: Hearts coach Didi Dramani eyes All Blacks win after Kotoko setback

Hearts of Oak are on the road to Swedru as guests of Ghana Premier League returnees, All Blacks in a week 10 fixture, a game the club’s fans are yearning for three points to keep the chase in the top four very much intact.

The Phobians had their unbeaten streak of the season halted by rivals, Asante Kotoko in week nine at the Accra Sports Stadium last weekend and they will want to quickly recover from that setback, according to head coach Mas Ud Didi Dramani.

Hearts of Oak has picked lessons from Kotoko defeat

“The result against Kotoko was not the outcome we envisaged, but we have taken it in good faith, and we have taken the learning part and the cues going forward. We need to continuously improve in some aspects of the game.

“The Super Clash is gone, and we will work harder to come out with better outcomes in our subsequent games,” Didi Dramani told Hearts TV.

Dramani has expressed caution as they travel to All Blacks in the week 10 fixture, a game they are looking to win.

“They are very tough opponents, you know, very direct opponents, very strong also in transitions, so we need to do as much as possible to make the right decisions in terms of stopping their transitional play.

“We also have to look at where they have a very fast, you know, attacking line, and we try as much as possible to open them up and then try to find the possibilities of staying in the right positions and making the right decisions.”

Hearts of Oak have collected 16 points, same as Samartex and reigning champions Gold Stars after nine matches into the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season.
