Ghana Premier League: “Hearts of Oak deserved to beat GoldStars” – Didi Dramani

Head coach of Hearts of Oak, Mas Ud Didi Dramani has reflected on the result, asserting that, the club deserved to claim all three points.

The Phobians shot themselves ahead in the first half but the reigning champions responded with two goals in the second half with the record MTN FA Cup holders fighting back to draw 2-2 before full time.

Dramani targets improvement in subsequent games

“We definitely should have won the game hands down. First 15 minutes, we created some good chances, but I still think we need to improve our decision-making. In the second half, we still dominated play. We played in their half,” Didi Dramani said.

“When we lost our balance is when they capitalized on it. Going forward, we need to make the right decisions. There is a lot we need to improve for us,” Dramani added.

Following the draw with Gold Stars on Sunday, Hearts of Oak have dropped to sixth place in the Ghana Premier League standings with 13 points. The Phobians will next face off with Holy Stars on Sunday, November 2.
