The central defender joins the Phobians from the Division One League club to bolster their back line ahead of next season’s football campaign. A short statement by the club after the signing read: “We are delighted to announce the signing of Baba Adamu from Golden Kick.”

Baba Adamu played a pivotal role in Golden Kick’s run up to the 2024/25 MTN FA Cup campaign where they finished as runners-up. They lost in a controversial final to record Ghana Premier League holders Asante Kotoko by 2-1 at the Legon Sports Stadium.

Hearts of Oak are looking to better their lots next season after finishing last term in fourth place on 58 points, the same total as sworn rivals Kotoko.
