Hearts of Oak will brighten their chances of toppling leaders Medeama if they beat Berekum Chelsea in week 23 of the Ghana Premier League on Sunday.
The Phobians sit second on the league table with 39 points same as reigning champions GoldStars, just five points behind Medeama after 22 matches.
Head coach of Hearts of Oak, Mas Ud Didi Dramani analyzed the game that comes up at the Legon Sports Stadium at 3:30PM GMT.
“They are aggressive, possessive and another compact team, they can move the ball very well and they are very courageous, how they want to play there is clarity [and] you know Samuel Boadu is a coach I mentored so with the greatest respect to his team,” Mas Didi Dramani told Hearts TV.
“We have picked lessons from the last game and then we acknowledge the challenges that we had in our team and we also acknowledge our strength and so we are building on that.
Hearts of Oak defender, Baba Adamu scored the only goal that gave them a 1-0 win over rivals Asante Kotoko last weekend at the Baba Yara Stadium and he is looking forward to replicating his fine form against Berekum Chelsea.
“We are very confident especially from the win that we had last weekend, it has really motivated us so well and I know we want to keep the consistency so I think we are going all out for that game,” Baba Adamu told Hearts TV.
“I know they are coming all out but we will stay with our game plan, stay with our pattern.”
Hearts of Oak are targeting the premier league title after exiting the FA Cup, a competition they hold the highest record of 12 trophies. Berekum Chelsea on the other hand have 26 points same as Young Apostles and Basake Holy Stars, three points away from the relegation zone.
