Former Ghana defender Daniel Amartey believes that Premier League club, Hearts of Oak will soon dominate Africa football judging from their massive infrastructural development.

The 2000 CAF Champions League winners pride themselves in a state of the art sports facility at Kpobiman, a suburb of the capital, Accra.

The Kpobiman academy project includes three natural grass and one artificial pitches, a swimming pool, a golf course, a gym and hostels for the senior male and female teams as well as the youth side, Auroras and the technical staff.

His remarks come following a visit to the training grounds during the week: “This is how big clubs are built,” he told the club’s media.

“With this kind of vision and investment, I truly believe Hearts of Oak is on the right path to once again dominate as a global force in football,” he added.

Amartey also called on the fans of the club to embrace the highest shareholder of the club, Togbe Afede XIV.

“Phobians, you are lucky to have Togbe Afede XIV to lead you. Embrace him well”.

Hearts of Oak are the only Ghanaian club to have won the CAF Champions League, the Confederation Cup and the CAF Super Cup. They hold a record 12 FA Cups and 20 domestic league titles.
