The “Red and Black” confirmed the acquisition of the 28-year-old winger who penned a two-year deal on a free transfer after his contract with Saudi Arabia Professional Football League side Al-Fayha expired last month.
Onyekuru now looks set to be a key player for the Ankara-based club, a move that is expected to bolster their attacking prowess as they embark on their campaign back in the Turkish top flight.
The Nigerian’s departure from Al-Fayha sees him leave a club where he was a consistent presence in the attacking third. During his stint in Saudi Arabia, he netted a respectable 10 goals in 29 league appearances for Al-Fayha, showcasing his characteristic pace and finishing ability.
