Egyptian coach Hossam El Badry has added a fresh title to his growing collection after guiding Al Ahli Tripoli to the Libyan Cup for the eighth time in the club’s history.

Al Ahli Tripoli lifted the trophy on Thursday evening after a 3–0 victory over Al Ahli Benghazi in the final held at Cairo International Stadium. The triumph marks another milestone for El Badry, who continues to build a successful era with the Libyan side.

This is the former Egypt coach’s second major title in Libyan football, having already secured the Libyan Premier League title with Al Ahli Tripoli last season. By completing the domestic double, El Badry has established himself as a key figure in the club’s modern success.

The Libyan Cup also becomes El Badry’s third trophy outside Egypt, adding to his 2011 Sudan Premier League title with Al Merrikh.

With this new achievement, El Badry’s total career titles rise to 11 trophies, including a highly decorated spell with Al Ahly SC in Egypt. He previously won seven titles with the Cairo giants, making that chapter the most successful period of his managerial career.
