Kaizer Chiefs have given an important update regarding their pre-season tour of the Netherlands and how their army of fans can follow the proceedings.

With AmaKhosi kickstarting their training matches against Vitesse on Tuesday, the South African club has explained steps taken to bring the action closer to home.

The Betway Premiership club’s Corporate Communications Manager, Vina Maphosa, says they will broadcast all the five matches. Maphosa said the supporters can follow the first match against the Dutch first division side Vitesse at Sportpark Driel in Driel, scheduled for 7pm Southern African time.

“Our pre-season camp in the Netherlands is well underway, and we will be live streaming our practice games on the Kaizer Chiefs YouTube channel,” Maphosa told Chiefs media.

“It’s fantastic news that our supporters will be able to watch our team live in action. They will also be able to see some of our new players. So, stay tuned for an exciting glimpse into the team’s preparation for the new season!”

The Glamour Boys have signed new players including Nkanyiso Shinga, Ethan Chislett, Flavio Silva, Paseko Mako, Thabiso Monyane and Siphesihle Ndlovu.

The game will also be streamed live on the club’s YouTube channel, @KaizerChiefsFootballClub.

“The live stream will start about 15 minutes before kick-off, which will be at 19:00.

If tickets are still available, they will also be sold at the entrance of Sportpark Driel.

The tickets will cost 10 Euro per person, while kids until the age of 16 will pay only 5 Euro,” the statement adds.

Chiefs will also face Utrecht 11 July, NEC Nijmegen on 12 July, PEC Zwolle on 15 July and FC Twente on 16 July.
