“I’m committed to helping URA FC win silverware” – Ssemujju pens contract extension until 2027

URA FC is thrilled to confirm that pacy winger and forward Joseph Ssemujju has signed a two-year contract extension that will keep him with the club until 2027.

Since arriving at the Tax Collectors in January 2023 from Tanzanian Premier League side Mbeya City FC, Ssemujju — affectionately known as Bagi — has developed into a key attacking pillar for the team.

Over the past two seasons, the electric wide man has featured in 52 matches, logging 2949 minutes, netting 7 goals, and contributing 6 assists. His consistent output and relentless work ethic have made him a dependable figure in URA’s attacking arsenal.

Speaking to club media after inking the new deal, Ssemujju expressed both gratitude and determination:

“I’m grateful for the trust and belief the club has shown in me. This extension means a lot, and I’m committed to working even harder to help URA FC win silverware in the coming seasons.”

Blessed with blistering pace, dazzling flair, and a keen eye for goal, Ssemujju remains one of the most exciting forwards in the Uganda Premier League. His renewed commitment is a massive boost as the club continues to build a competitive side for the seasons ahead.
