Egyptian winger Ibrahim Adel continued his impressive run with FC Nordsjælland, scoring a dramatic late winner in his side’s 2-1 victory over Brøndby in the Danish Superliga.
Nordsjælland hosted Brøndby in Round 25 of the league, and the match appeared to be heading toward a 1-1 draw before Adel made the difference.
Coming on as a substitute in the 67th minute, the Egyptian international delivered the decisive moment in the 88th minute, finding the net to secure all three points for the hosts.
The Egyptian winger showcased his individual quality with a superb solo effort, dribbling past a Brøndby defender with great skill before unleashing a left-footed strike that found the back of the net.
This goal marks Adel’s second for The Tigers since joining the club on loan, having also scored in the previous round against SønderjyskE.
With this win, Nordsjælland move up to 40 points in third place in the championship group standings, while Brøndby remain sixth with 35 points.
