Head coach of Medeama SC, Ibrahim Tanko has expressed joy after his side fought back to hold Hohoe United to a 1-1 draw in Ghana Premier League week 8.
The Mauve and Yellow were stunned in the sixth minute before they pulled level in the second half to peg the game at 1-1.
Speaking during a post-match interview, Ibrahim Tanko gave positive reviews about his team’s performance.
“I think looking at the performance we put on, I think it’s a deserved [result] if not normally we should have won because we had most the chances, [but] I think one point away is good,” Ibrahim Tanko said.
“Like I said we had the chances even our defenders Kamaradini [Mamudu] missed two but I mean we are playing away and going 1-0 behind you have to do more and I’m happy that they came back and this kind of performance is good for going forward.
Medeama opened a two-point lead notwithstanding the 1-1, going on 17 points with the remaining games to be cleared at the weekend.
