Everton’s Thursday evening training session brought a positive development inside the camp, as Senegalese midfielder Idrissa Gana Gueye and teammate Michael Keane appeared to have reconciled following their heated incident against Manchester United last Monday.

Gueye was shown a straight red card during Everton’s Premier League clash with United after striking Keane during an argument between the two players in the early stages of the match. The Senegal international reacted angrily after a defensive lapse, and the referee spotted the altercation, sending him off in the 13th minute.
Despite being reduced to ten men, Everton showed impressive resilience and went on to claim a 1–0 victory over Manchester United in the Premier League fixture.
Following the match, the Senegalese midfielder publicly issued an apology on his Instagram account, taking full responsibility for his reaction.
The apology seems to have been accepted within the squad, as today’s training photos showed Gueye and Keane interacting friendly, signalling that the issue has been resolved internally.
