The versatile defender, who captained Ikorodu City in the recently concluded 2024/2025 NPFL season, was instrumental in guiding the “Oga Boys” to a remarkable 4th-place finish in their debut season in the top flight.
Ojetoye’s outstanding form and mature displays did not go unnoticed by the national team handlers. Ojetoye recently earned him a call-up to Nigeria’s Super Eagles B team, the squad specifically designated for the upcoming African Nations Championship (CHAN) set to be hosted by Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda in August 2025.
However, his move abroad means he will no longer be eligible to participate in the home-based tournament.
The transfer marks a significant step forward in the career of the promising defender, who will now test himself in Israel’s top flight as he looks to further his development on the international stage.
