In the statement released by the Oga Boys, they expressed satisfaction in the experience of their new general mager, as they believe he will help in chasing their goals in the NPFL.
“The management of Ikorodu City Football Club is pleased to announce the appointment of Seyi Jones as the General Manager of the team.
The club welcomes Seyi Jones on board with wealth of experience as we continue chase our goals and objectives in the Nigeria Top League.”
Jones previously served as the Chief Executive Officer/General Manager of Nigeria National League (NNL) side 1472 FC. He was also the Chief Operating Officer of Lagos-based NNL side Smart City.
The “Oga Boys” currently occupy second place on the NPFL table with 45 points from 27 matches, keeping the pressure on Finidi George’s Rivers United, who sit in first position.
Ikorodu City will face Bendel Insurance in a Matchday 28 fixture in Benin City this Sunday.
