Ilechukwu extends stay as Rangers coach

Head coach of Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) side, Enugu Rangers International, Fidelis Ilechukwu has extended his contract with the eight-time league champions.
Ilechukwu signed as the head coach of Flying Antelopes on July 5, 2023, with an initially two-year contract, has now committed his feature till the end of the 2026 season.
Known as the Working One, he won Enugu Rangers their eight NPFL title in the 2023/2024 season in a remarkable with a total of seventy points, after playing 38 matches, with 21 victories, 7 draws, 10 defeats and scoring a grand total of 56 goals, and conceding 33.
The contract extension comes after a high-level meeting between Ilechukwu and the GM/CEO of Rangers, Amobi Ezeaku.
Rangers are currently 9th on the NPFL table and are still on track to win the President Federation Cup as they will take on Kwara United in the semifinals on May 17, 2024
