Iliman Ndiaye remains grounded despite links to top clubs

Senegal forward Iliman Ndiaye says he is calm despite courting interest from several European clubs with his breathtaking performances.

Ndiaye has been instrumental for English Premier League club Everton who are chasing a European spot in the current top flight campaign.

The 25-year-old, whose one goal in six matches helped Senegal win their second Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco, has been linked to top sides like Manchester United and Serie A big boys Inter Milan.

The former Olympique Marseille attacker opened up on his future in an interview with The Times.

Ndiaye has 21 appearances in all competitions

“I see it,” he told the British newspaper The Times. “I’m not the type to go on X or Instagram, because I’m a pretty cool person. I’m calm.” Football can take you anywhere.

“If teams are interested, it means I’m doing a good job. As long as I’m at Everton, I’ll always give my best. And I want to achieve great things with Everton, starting with this season and qualifying for Europe. It’s worth noting that Everton are currently 8th in the Premier League.ā€ He said.

Ndiaye has scored 4 goals and provided 2 assists in 21 matches across all competitions this season with the Toffees who sit in 8th on the league table with 37 points from 25 league games.

He has 34 caps with four goals for Senegal who have qualified for the 2026 FIFA World Cup to be co-hosted by Canada, USA and Mexico.
