The Ghana women's national team were pegged back by Ivory Coast in their second international friendly in Abidjan on Tuesday.
The Black Queens suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat to Ivory Coast, completing their two-game friendly series ahead of the 2025 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) in Morocco.
Ghana’s first game against the same side produced a six-goal thriller after the Black Queens threw away a 3-0 lead to draw 3-3 at full-time three days ago.
The two matches were part of Ghana's preparations for WAFCON 2024, which kicks off on July 5. Ghana are in Group C alongside Mali, South Africa, and Tanzania.
