Another graduate of Right to Dream Academy earned a major move to one of Europe's top leagues this week following Ivorian midfielder Mario Dorgeles' transfer to Portuguese club Braga.
The 20-year-old central midfielder completes a move to one of Portugal's top clubs after Braga spent €11 million for his services to Right to Dream's partner club FC Nordsjaelland. Dorgeles made 83 appearances in all competitions for Nordsjaelland over three seasons, contributing three goals and six assists.
"I feel grateful and very happy to be here...I have seen a little of the facilities over there and I am already amazed," Dorgeles told Braga's media team.
"I have many qualities...shooting, finding the paces, creating chances and dribbling," Dorgeles said when asked to describe himself as a player. "I think my main target is to play and achieve big things with the team."
Dorgeles joins a club that will take part in the UEFA Europa League for the 2025-26 season, something the Ivorian also mentioned during his introductory interview. Braga were in the Europa League this past season but missed out on qualifying for the knockout stages by the narrowest of margins.
The midfielder has been one of the more highly rated prospects at Nordsjaelland over the past couple of seasons and this week's transfer gives Dorgeles a new stage to prove his abilities. Success at Braga will also increase his chances with the Ivory Coast national team, for whom he made three appearances during their 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying campaign.
