Versatile Ghanaian player Jeffrey Schlupp has expressed many positives about life at Scottish club Celtic just two months into his stay.

Schlupp has made seven league appearances for Celtic in the Scottish Premiership, scoring one goal and delivering an assist since joining The Hoops in the January transfer window.

The on-loan Crystal Palace star was in action on Saturday when Celtic marched to an emphatic 3-0 win over Heart of Midlothian. Speaking after the game, Schlupp shed light on how he is settling in well at the club and looking forward to helping Celtic achieve success this season.

“I feel like I am doing a good job. The gaffer is happy for me. He is playing me and giving me minutes which is important for me. I’m just happy and any minute I get I will be happy. Of course, I knew I was joining a successful team and I have enjoyed and settled in well,” Schlupp said.

The 32-year-old joined Celtic on loan from English Premier League side Crystal Palace and is expected to return to his parent club at the end of the season.

Schlupp has played twenty times for the Black Stars of Ghana, registering one goal. Despite his fine form at club Crystal Palace and now Celtic, he continues to be overlooked for the Black Stars with his last appearance in September 2021.
