Jennifer Echegini returns from injury, named in PSG squad to face Le Havre

Nigerian women’s national team midfielder Jennifer Echegini is set to feature in Saturday’s Arkema Premier League clash as Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) Feminins trade tackles with Le Havre.

Echegini sustained a hamstring injury in the closing stages of PSG’s league clash with Strasbourg before the recent international break.

The injury forced her to miss Nigeria’s 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) qualifiers against Benin. The 24-year-old resumed full training with her teammates on Friday.

Echegini has been included in PSG’s squad for the clash with Le Havre. Her Super Falcons teammate, Rasheedat Ajibade, was also named in the squad.
