Ivory Coast international, Jeremie Boga saved the day for OG Nice in their slim win at home to Nantes in the French Ligue 1.
A keenly contested game at the Allianz Riviera produced no goals in the first department.
Boga, 28, scored in the 56th minute to bring Nice back to winning ways, having lost twice previously to Toulouse and Le Havre.
The win pushes them into 9th on six points from four matches in the Ligue 1.
Young Sierra Leone defender, Abdulaye Juma Bah combined effectively with uncapped Ghanaian youngster Kojo Peprah Oppong at the heart of defence to keep Nantes attackers of Matthis Abline and Mostafa Mohamed at bay.
A number Africans were in action in the same fixture, Soufiane Diop of Morocco, played a part in Nice win.
In the starting line for Nantes were Egypt striker Mostafa Mohamed who played 86minutes wirh Nigeria defender, Chidozie Awaziem enjoying full time.
It was a bad day at the office for Ghana defender, Mohammed Salisu who gifted an own in Monaco’s 2-1 win at Auxerre.
