Ghana international Jerry Afriyie grabbed a brace to help propel new club RAAL La Louviere clinch their first away win of the season in the Belgium Jupiler Pro League.
The striker scored his his first goals to give RAAL La Louviere a 2-1 victory over OH Leuven on Saturday at the Den Dreef Stadion.
Afriyie fired his first goal in the 17th minute to cancel out Sory Kaba’s opener for the hosts, before grabbing a second in the 26th minute to eventually win the day for his side.
The all important result marked La Louviere’s third league win after eight matches.
The 18-year-old who is on loan from Saudi Pro League club Al Qadsiah, is quickly settling to life in Belgium.
His brace takes him to the top of the club’s scoring chart, despite featuring in only four games so far.
La Louviere’s win lifts them to 8th place on 10 points. Afriyie previously impressed on loan at Spanish second-tier side CD Lugo, where he recorded four goals and two assists in 10 matches last season.
