Comoros national team star Rafiki Saïd was in peak form over the weekend for Standard Liège while Algerian midfield playmaker Adem Zorgane scored a match winner for Royale Union Saint-Gilloise in Belgium’s Jupiler Pro League.

Saïd had endured a three-match goal drought heading into Sunday’s clash against Anderlecht but the tricky forwad was immense for hosts Standard. The Comoros star set up Ibrahim Karamoko’s opening goal in the first half before producing a delightful finish just after halftime to wrap up a 2-0 victory.
Saïd now has four goals and three assists from twenty Pro League matches and will hope that his latest performance can spark a resurgence in the second half of the campaign. Standard moved up to 8th place on the league table with the victory.
While Saïd has been streaky this season, Adem Zorgane has been remarkably consistent with league leaders Union SG.

The former Paradou AC star received his fifth consecutive start since returning from 2025 Africa Cup of Nations duty and rewarded coach David Hubert with the match winner in a 1-0 win over Club Brugge. After a corner kick was allowed to fall in the Club Brugge penalty area, Zorgane reacted quickly to poke the loose ball past goalkeeper Simon Mignolet for the first half winner.
The 26-year-old was likely disappointed that he only made one appearance for Algeria at the AFCON in Morocco, a half hour cameo in the group stage against Equatorial Guinea. However, he clearly has put aside any hard feelings to focus on maintaining his high level with Union SG.
Since joining the club ahead of the current season after an excellent four seasons with fellow Pro League side Charleroi, Zorgane has 2 goals and 5 assists from 31 matches across all competitions. Union SG are now enjoying a four-point lead ahead of closest contenders Sint-Truiden (STVV), unbeaten in their last seven league matches.
